This Privacy Policy explains how Seiri ("Seiri," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Seiri application and related services (the "Service").
1.Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: name, email address, and authentication credentials.
- Profile information: display name, queue URL/handle, profile image, profile badge, status message, notification preferences, payment instructions, and other profile settings you configure.
- Session and device information: IP address, user agent, session identifiers, and authentication tokens.
- Connected account information: if you sign in with supported providers (such as Google, Discord, or Facebook), we receive basic account identifiers and tokens required for sign-in.
- Theme/customization data: draft and published theme settings you create in Seiri.
- Commission request information: when someone submits a commission request through a public queue, we collect the provided name, contact details, commission type, and message for delivery to the artist and storage in the Service.
- Feedback submissions: feedback type, message content, your user ID, your display name, and the page URL associated with the feedback you send.
- Push subscription data: browser push subscription endpoints and keys used to deliver notifications you enable.
- Analytics and technical telemetry: usage analytics and performance measurements collected through Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights.
- Usage and technical logs: timestamps and basic request/operation metadata needed for security and troubleshooting.
2.How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Create and manage user accounts and sessions.
- Authenticate users and prevent unauthorized access.
- Save and publish profile and theme preferences.
- Show your public queue and related profile information to visitors based on the settings you choose to publish.
- Receive, store, and deliver commission requests to the relevant artist.
- Receive, review, and respond to feedback and support inquiries.
- Send transactional emails, password resets, verification links, and web push notifications.
- Measure product usage, reliability, and performance.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- Communicate service-related notices and support responses.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3.How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share information:
- With service providers that host infrastructure or support authentication and core Service functionality.
- With analytics and performance providers that help us understand usage and reliability, including Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights.
- With integrated identity providers you choose to use for social sign-in.
- With the artist whose public queue you submit a commission request to.
- With Discord when an artist has configured a Discord webhook for commission request notifications, or when Seiri operators have configured Discord delivery for feedback notifications.
- With email delivery and push notification providers used to send transactional messages and alerts.
- If required by law, legal process, or valid governmental request.
- To protect rights, safety, security, and property of Seiri, users, or others.
- In connection with a business transfer (for example, merger, acquisition, or asset sale), subject to applicable law.
4.Cookies and Similar Technologies
Seiri uses session and authentication cookies and similar browser storage mechanisms, including local storage and session storage, to keep you signed in, remember theme or workspace preferences, secure your account, and operate core features. Disabling required cookies or storage may prevent parts of the Service from functioning.
5.Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, satisfy legal/accounting/security obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention may vary by data type and operational need. Public profile information remains available until you change it or your account is deleted. Commission requests, feedback submissions, and technical logs may be retained for operational, security, and support purposes.
6.Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No security method is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7.Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live in the United States, you may have rights under applicable state privacy laws, which may include rights to access, delete, or correct certain personal information.
You may also:
- Update certain account/profile information in the Service.
- Request account deletion by contacting us (see Section 10).
- Disable optional notifications in your settings, where available.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
8.Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
